Ms. Josephine Dolores Twyman-Manning, the daughter of the late Laura Manning, gained her
beautiful wings and joined the Lord on Friday, April 29, 2022. Ms. Josephine was born in the
Bronx, New York City and relocated with family and friends. Thereafter, graduated from Monroe
High School located in Monroe, North Carolina. Throughout her lifetime, she worked both as a
general worker and stay at home mother.
Josephine Twyman was one of the most genuine and authentic women you could have met. She
would always keep it real or debate with you, no matter the circumstances – she always spoke
with love and from the heart. She was such a loving, caring, and strong woman. Josephine
enjoyed trying new recipes and always looked forward to everyone trying them as well. She
enjoyed fishing and relaxing by the pond, she enjoyed celebrating holidays and bringing family
together, she enjoyed music, games and game nights, but most importantly she enjoyed seeing
everyone smile. She treated everyone like kin.
Josephine leaves to cherish her memories; her son, Rejaun H. Twyman, Sr.; daughter, Shaniece
S. Twyman; daughter, Taliya D. Twyman; grandson, Rejaun H. Twyman, Jr.; grandson, Noah R.
Twyman; granddaughter, Lola R. Twyman; her children's fathers, Reggie R. and Michael L;
sisters, Deborah, Mable and Karen; nephews, Michael and David; and her baby Dolo.
Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the Twyman family.
