Jolene G. Broome, 70, of Mooresville, NC, passed away February 14, 2021, after a brief illness. Jolene was a retiree of BellSouth after a 30-year career. She was preceded in death by her husband, David F. Broome. Due to Covid-19 a memorial service will be announced at a later date. She is survived by her son, Shane Queen (Dolly); grandsons, Henry Duls III, Quentin C. Queen; brother, Greg Green (Karen); nieces, Anna (Brian), Emily (Donny), Sarah (Gerson), Leah (Jordan); nephew, Benjamin (Marissa), and three grandnieces. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Union County, Monroe, NC, or to Catering to Cats & Dogs Rescue at Catering to Cats and Dogs (c2cnd.org).
