Jeannie Lynn Hartley,59, passed away March 18, 2025. She was born July 14, 1965 to the late Gloria Faye Deese and John Wesley Morris. Jeannie will be remembered by her children for being the most giving and generous person. She would help anyone in need and the love and compassionate she demonstrated touched the hearts of all those around her. Jeannie loved her children fiercely and was extremely proud of them. She was a part of a woman's bible study group called, "The Womb of Faith" where they served as her biggest support group and best friends. Additionally, she loved to sow and make stuffed bears. Jeannie will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Eastwood Forest Baptist Church, 112 Aurora Blvd., Matthews, NC 28105.

She is preceded in passing by her mother, Gloria Faye Deese, father, John Wesley Morris, and many other loved ones.

Jeannie is survived by two children, Corey and Naomi, brothers, Wayne Morris and Clinton Eugene Morris, and 17 nieces and nephews.
