Jan Kiker Brooks, 71, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Jan was born January 12, 1952, in Union County, a daughter of the Boyd and Manilla Mullis Kiker. She is also preceded in death by her son, David Brooks and brothers, Duck and Wallace Kiker.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church 6223 Love Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110 with burial to follow in Longs Grove Advent Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Holland Funeral Service 806 Circle Drive Monroe, NC 28112.

Jan is survived by a daughter, Amanda Mullis (Marc), grandchildren, Jonathan Mullis (Tori), Lauren Mullis, Chase Mullis, Lanie Mullis, Reagan Allen, great grand-children, Aubrey Mullis, Addison Mullis, Carter Wallace, sisters, Brenda Mullis, and her twin sister, Ann Rushing Smith. Douglas Kiker who was like a brother to Jan and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and the many wonderful friends she made over the years.
