Frances Thompson Sykes Mrs. Sykes, 92, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. She was born August 20, 1928, to the late Edward Lester Thompson and Rita Pelletier Thompson Frances and her Husband Ernest Sykes were the founder's of Caring & Sharing Ministries, which together they operated since 1957. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by Her husband Ernest Sykes of 63 earthly years. 2 sisters and 8 brothers Frances is survived by her loving children, daughter, Judy Warner of Albemarle NC; son, Ernest Eugene Sykes of Holden Beach NC, four grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. 5 sisters and 3 brothers A visitation will be held Monday, November 23 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Holland Funeral Service & Crematory located at 806 Circle Drive Monroe, NC 28112, the graveside service will be held to celebrate the life of Frances on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 3:00 p.m at Sharon Memorial Park, 5400 Monroe Road, Charlotte Nc Holland Funeral service and Crematory is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family ask if you would donate or adopt a child in need this Christmas in honour of Frances.
