Her sister and brother-in-law, Kassandra and Garrett McIntyre with her niece, Emma and nephews, Walker and Nash. Paternal grandmother, Kathy Mulcahey; multiple aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of family. Erika is preceded in in the past month by maternal grandparents, Raymond Forgue and Norma Forgue and uncle Joseph Robinson. Paternal grandfather Eric Mulcahey, aunt Denise McCann, uncle Duane Francis, and paternal grandfather James Zischke. Erika was a vibrant and free spirited soul, she was such a contagious person. She undoubtedly loved with her whole heart, her laugh paused any ache and her hugs were part of any healing process. Erika was born in Boynton Beach, Florida on September 19, 1997. With her family, she moved from Florida to North Carolina, where she continued to thrive and live her remaining years. She graduated from Piedmont High School in 2016. Soon after graduation Erika started working at Allied Securities and Conmet. Her lifelong ambitions were to pursue photography and arts. She loved finding beauty in the simple things and capturing those moments within the lens of a camera. She loved hanging out with her friends. Her sister had 3 babies which quickly became Erika's' newest joy- she found every way to be a part of her niece and nephews lives. Her role as their aunt was so vital and had a beautiful relationship. Within the past couple of years, Erika joyfully started a relationship with Elijah Tift. Her smile had changed and was known of the love she had for him. The date was set for November 20, 2021 for Erika and her fiancé, Elijah to get married. In honor of Erika and as part of her last request, Erika was able be an organ donor. She was able to give her kidneys for transplant and use her lungs to help with the research for COVID-19. We pray this donation and sacrifice touches someone we may never meet. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Trinity Baptist Church. The family of Erika Ann Mulcahey would like to thank you all for the support and the prayers during this time for grief. Holland Funeral Ser
