Christa Childers, 43, passed away July 1, 2022, joining many loved ones who went on before her. She was born in Spartanburg. South Carolina, on August 4, 1978. Christa was a woman who loved her family. She would cherish every moment she was able to spend with her children and family. They would all travel to the beach and the mountains together. When she and her family weren't traveling, she could be found watching a science fiction or mystery movie with her kids. Christa also loved going to concerts and cooking. She will be truly missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. Christa is survived by her parents Keith and Debra Joye; children, Issac Blanton Jr., Cloe Blanton, and Jacoby Blanton; sisters, Angela Walls (Jimmy), Kara Bigham (Mike), and Ashley Miller (Erick); nephews and nieces, William(Olivia), Ryan, Elizabeth, and Amy Walls, Lily, Madison, and Steven Bigham, Heavyn Miller, Brantley and Tucker Rorie, Jesse Blanton, Timmy Blanton; and best friend, Brandy Turner. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Because of the immense love Christa had for her children, in lieu of flowers, a memorial college fund for her children has been created.
