Ashley Monquie McClendon daughter of Tynika McClendon and Billy Montgomery, was born August 13th, 1993 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She departed this earthly life on January 1, 2022, in Chesterfield County. Funeral Services will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 9, 2021 at Holland Funeral Service. A public viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm on Saturday, January 8, 2021 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Ms. McClendon will be laid to rest at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe. Ashley worked at Kentucky fried Chicken in Pageland, SC. Where she got her Master Degree as a Medical Assistant. She was a member of Mt. Calvary AME Zion Church of Monroe, NC. She had a caring heart for elderly people and anyone that crossed her path. Those preceding in death are her Grandmothers, Earlie Waters, Alforene McClendon, May Belle Deese, Bertha Lee Montgomery; and Grandfathers, JB Deese and Frank Montgomery. Ashley leaves to cherish loving memories Her Sisters, Brittney McClendon of S.C, Her Twin, LaShaunail McClendon (Bryant Russell) of Monroe N.C., Jasmine McClendon (Pat) of S.C., Charleina Gaddy of Polkton N.C., Loretta Gaddy ( Jermaine) of Indian Trail; Brothers, Darion McClendon of Monroe N.C., and Billy Montgomery Jr. of Monroe N.C. 1 Aunt, Laura Blount (Mike) of Monroe North Carolina; Uncle Rufus McClendon (Erica) of Monroe North Carolina, Angelo Stewart and Donald Clyburn both of Charlotte North Carolina. Ashley also leaves to cherish a host of nieces and nephews, aunt's and uncles, family and friends and one great nephew Deoveon Rashawn Byrd Jr. And two very special aunts, Della Mae Waters Garland and Marlene Rorie.
