Alma "Lorene" Poole, 75, went to her heavenly home Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born December 1, 1945 to the late Verlon Massey Sr. and Alma Timberlake Massey. Lorene was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Poole. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Kings Memorial Church, 701 SE Main St, Waxhaw, NC 28173. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 12:45pm prior to the service at the church. Lorene is survived by her son, Bobby Nickleson (Karen); grandson, Garrett Nickleson; brothers, Ray Massey, and Jimmy Massey, close family friend, Mae Helms (David) and many other special friends and family members. Lorene was a loving and caring mother who was always there for her family. Ms. Lorene was a Godly woman who was a member of Kings Memorial Church where she faithfully attended every Sunday. Lorene never missed a church event; she was in attendance at every church meal and meetings. Lorene loved to spend time with her family and was always willing to help out others and friends in need. She especially loved to spend her time reading her bible. Lorene's family finds peace in knowing that because of her faith in Jesus Christ, they will one day see her again.
