Ms. Alice Jane Gibson, 75 of Monroe NC, passed away July 29th, 2024. She was born November 26, 1948, to the late Bishop (Bish) and Janie Gibson of Monroe N.C. She was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Gibson, Her brother, William Gibson and Her sisters Margaret and Lola.

She loved and was loved by her children, grandchildren, brothers, nieces, nephews, life partner and many friends. Alice loved spending time with family, friends, doing crossword puzzles, going to the beach, and listening to Indian music. She made one of the best coconut/pineapple cakes and loved taking it to family gatherings. Alice was a loving person, and everyone knew her door was always open.

Alice was survived by her son, Bishop (Benjie) and daughter-in-law, Christina Gibson, two grandchildren, Bishop Austin and Georgia Gibson all of Monroe NC, her brother, Jimmy Gibson, and niece Crystal Ramsey both of Lancaster, SC, her brother, Randy Gibson, nephew, Ken Gibson, and niece, Tara Brown all of Winston-Salem NC, her nephew, Dwayne Gibson of Monroe NC, her life partner, Don McManus of Waxhaw NC, and special friend Shelia Morris of Monroe NC.
