Mrs. Zettie (Haney) Marsh, 89, of Monroe, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024. Mrs. Marsh was born in Anson County, NC on June 17, 1935 to the late Foster and Jennie Bet Sheppard Taylor.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 28, 2024 in the Winston Chapel of Holland Funeral Service 806 Circle Drive Monroe, NC 28112 with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Marsh is survived by her husband, Johnny Dale Marsh: daughters, Teresa Haney Darnell(Mark), Ginger Haney Tabor ( Tommy); her special pet Cookie, grandchildren, Josh Roberts, Aaron Rielly (Payton), Mackenzie Koehler (Caleb), Patrick Rielly; great grandchildren, Hunter Rielly, Preslee Koehler, Anderson Koehler, Parker Rielly and Crew Koehler; special nieces Ashley Traywick and Paige Staton and many more nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Jack Taylor, David Taylor, Frank Taylor, Arthur Taylor and Paul Taylor; sisters Alice Smith, Sarah Beachum, Mary Gaddy, Hettie Helms and Betty Haney.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice House of Union County, 700 West Roosevelt Blvd. Monroe, NC 28110 Attn: Patty.

Mrs. Marsh enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, cleaning and taking care of all of her family.

We would like to express our gratitude and thanks to the wonderful staff at Hospice House for the care and attention given to our Mom and her family in the last 20 days of her life.
