On Wednesday October 9th, 2024, the lord called Teena Gaddy Griffin, age 67, to her heavenly home. Teena was born on February 25, 1957, in Monroe North Carolina to the late Eddie and Barbara Gaddy.

Teena was a loving wife, mother, and maw maw who loved the lord and her family dearly. She worked many years at Little's General Store with her sister Betty Little. Teena enjoyed family get togethers, shopping and spending time with her grandkids. We know God makes no mistakes, and we take comfort in knowing for those who have trusted the Lord as their savior, that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and Teena is now with her Heavenly Father.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 46 years Sonny Griffin, daughter Tonya Mangum (Zach), nephew Scott Henry, daughter Frances Baker, grandsons, Dalton Mangum (Kaitlyn), Colby Baker (Skylar), Jake Mangum (Merlot), great grandson Easton Baker, siblings Ann Henry (WT) of Monroe, Ruby Jones Courtney of Marshville, Lillie Mae Trull of Marshville, along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sister's Betty Little, Bobbie Loyd, Kathleen Jenkins, and Sherry Kendall, brothers Joe Gaddy, and son in law Jeremy Baker.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Holland Funeral Service, located at 806 Circle Drive Monroe NC 28112 at 12:00pm. Visitation will be from 11:00am-11:50am on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Holland Funeral Service. Mrs. Teena Griffin will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Union Grove Baptist Cemetery, located at 2434 Old Lawyers Rd Marshville, NC 28103.
