Shelia Ann Price went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 15, 2022 and was surrounded by family in her home. She was born on March 9, 1947, in Monroe, NC. She is the daughter of late Lois and Blythe Irby. Shelia Ann is preceded in death by her sister Blenda Mullis of Mint Hill.

Ann is survived by her loving husband Barry Price who she was happily married to for 56 years. She is also survived by her son Brian Price (Allison) of Monroe, her daughter Christy Price-Cloutier (Shawn) of Asheville, and four grandchildren, Madison Price (22), Riley Price (19), Emerson Coffee (16), and Rourke Cloutier (8). She is also survived by her niece Melissa Guskiewicz (Rob) of Mint Hill and her nephew Robert Mullis (Jennifer) of Waxhaw - both were like a daughter and son to her.

She worked at Union Diversified Industries for 39 years where she enjoyed supporting people with special needs. Ann later retired in 2016.

Her priority in life was always her family - as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and Nana. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and had a generous heart full of compassion. So many people were touched by her love and kindness, and she will never be forgotten. Ann's sweet voice, laughter, and wisdom will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

A special thank you to Hospice of Monroe and Lisa Crook of Monroe-they took really good care of Ann in her final days.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:30pm on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Hopewell Baptist Church (Legacy Campus), 420 Hopewell Church Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Mrs. Price will be laid to rest at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the conclusion of the service.
