Sharon Dianne Moore Mills got to meet her Savior face to face in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Dianne was preceded by her parents, J. Herman Moore, and Mildred H. Moore. She was also preceded by sisters, Kathryn Griffin, Jane Austin, Lois Funderburk, and brother, Robert E. Moore. Visitation will be Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Emmanuel Baptist Church from 1:45pm until 2:45pm. The memorial service will begin at 3:00pm. The address for Emmanuel Baptist Church is 3816 Morgan Mill Rd., Monroe, NC 28110. Dianne is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert D. Mills. She is also survived by her sons, Christopher D. Mills (Kelly) and Timothy R. Mills (Carla). Also surviving are her 5 grandchildren, Payton Mills, Ryan Mills, Bergen Mills, Cody Boling, and Samantha Boling. She is also leaves behind her siblings, Linda Adcock Pierce, Edward Moore, and Joseph Moore, numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished in-laws. Dianne graduated from Forest Hills High School and worked for 42 years as Office Manager at Monroe Motor Company until her retirement. Dianne was a charter member of Oakland Baptist Church and then attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her family, and her country. She was proud to be from a large family and loved spending as much time with them as possible. Dianne was very active at her church and spent many years volunteering for Hometown Heroes. She tried to leave this world a better place and will be sorely missed. A special thank you to her caregiver and Monroe Manor.
