Sandra Jean Miller, 82, went to her heavenly home on June 22, 2022. She was born October 12, 1939 to the late Clem and Adelia Campbell. In addition to her parents, Sandra is also preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Dwight Brown Miller, and her sister, Patricia Brumbles.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1417 Unionville - Indian Trail Rd W, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
Sandra is survived by her brother, Michael Campbell; children, Dwight Miller, wife Toni, of Matthews; LeeAnna Henkle, husband Barry of Monroe; and Robert Miller, wife Kendra of Matthews;
grandchildren, Ashley Miller (Bobby Dowless), Rebekah Sutton (Daniel), Christian Moore, Luke Moore, Robert Miller, Stephen Miller, and Jordan Hunt (Chris); great-grandchildren, Yates, Ashton, Shelby Mae, and Jayce Dowless, Aubrey Sutton, Easton Moore, and one more on the way.
Sandra grew up in Hamlet, NC and graduated from Hamlet High School. After becoming a young widow, she went back to school where she graduated from Central Piedmont Community College with an Associates degree in Accounting. Sandra loved what she did for a living, and she eventually retired from Stock Components in 2005.
Sandra loved music. She played the piano, sang in the church choir, directed children's choir, and taught Sunday School. She was also a woman of faith and lead a widow's ministry. She knew the bible like the back of her hand! She would take any given opportunity to study God's word in many different translations. Sandra loved prophecy and had a deep love for Israel. She was a committed prayer warrior even after she was no longer able to go to church.
She sewed, loved crafting, painting and enjoyed gardening. Sandra loved family reunions and going to her high school reunions.She was everyone's mother anywhere she was employed. She was an avid reader and loved NASCAR racing!
Above all else, Sandra loved her family and friends. She would cherish every moment she was able to spend with them. She loved vacationing at the beach with LeeAnna and her children, and couldn't wait to grab a bite to eat and watch a movie with Mitchell and Robert.
And always knew there was absolutely nothing that she could not get through in this life as long as the Lord guided her and walked through with her. She always her wore a cross. She felt like that was her testimony. Sandra will be truly missed and cherished in hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
