Rhonda McGhee Herring, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, at the age of 49.

Born on December 11, 1975, Rhonda grew into a woman of faith, love, kindness, and strength. She built a beautiful life filled with love and family alongside her husband, Daniel Woodrow Herring.

Her greatest joy was being a mother to her three children — Jordan, Matthew, and Mackenzie — who were the pride of her heart. Rhonda's love for her family was evident in everything she did, from her gentle words of encouragement to her tireless devotion to their well-being.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Woodrow Herring.

She married Kevin Douglas Wilford in April of 2015.

Rhonda is survived by her children Jordan Ray Herring, Matthew Ryan Herring and Mackenzie Renea Herring; her aunt, Angela Darlene Hager; her sisters Rihannan Nichole Sheppard and Robyn Colleen Clark ; her brother Ronald Clay McGhee Jr; and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

A graveside will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews, NC, 28104.
