Penny Cheryl Kiker, née Carriker was loved by many and loved many. She was a woman who would always be there for anyone in need. Penny was a wife, mother, Mimi, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was many things to many people, but her favorite title was Mom. There is no doubt how much she loved her boys. Even though she was sick, she still managed to be the best Mimi to her two granddaughters. Penny fought a hard battle of stage 4 stomach cancer.

Penny gained her wings on November 11th, 2022 and flew up to heaven. In her last days, she was surrounded by her husband, sons, and close family. We will forever want more time with our sweet Penny, but the memories we had will be forever cherished.

Penny was preceded in death by her father, Duane Carriker; brother, Phillip Carriker; and niece, Christy Haigler. She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Kiker; her beloved sons, Dalton (Maggie), Dillon, and Dakota; her treasured granddaughters, Brylee and Bristol; her mom, Patsy Carriker; sisters, Michelle Haigler (Ronnie), Jenny Graham, and Deanna Holmes (Jimmy); brother, Jeremy Carriker (Marie); and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 15th from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Dr., Monroe. A Celebration of Penny's Life will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, November 16th at Antioch Baptist Church, 6223 Love Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110.
