Mrs. Patricia Ann Wallace Garwood, 74, passed away March 14, 2022. Mrs. Garwood was born in Union County, NC on June 9, 1947 to the late Roosevelt Theodore Wallace and Lola Clyte Adcock Wallace. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM at Memorial United Methodist Church, 1200 Miller St. Monroe, NC 28110. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Garwood will begin at 11:30 AM in the church sanctuary. Following the service she will be laid to rest at Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Garwood is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Evert Garwood; son, Scott Garwood; daughter, Dawn Miles (Mendel); grandchildren, Miranda Scoggins (Christo), Kendel Hines (Jessica), John Miles (Samantha), and Alex Miles; great-grandchildren, Paisley Miles, Wayne Miles who will be arriving approx. July 4, 2022; her faithful 4 Legged Baby Boy Gibbs; brother, R.T. Wallace Jr. (Paulette); and sister, Sue Fickling (Danny). In addition to her parents she was preceded in passing by her great grandchild Pepper Scoggins. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org/donation Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
