Patricia "Lynn" Damian, 62, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 8, 1961, in Charlotte, NC, Lynn was the cherished daughter of Patsy and Kenneth Abernathy. A proud graduate of Independence High School, she later became a beloved school bus driver for Union County Public Schools, where her warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike.

Lynn was known for her joyful spirit, generous heart, and remarkable sense of humor. She had a passion for art, animals, 1970s music, and selflessly helping others. Her laughter and love brought light to everyone she met.

She is survived by her son, Robert Kenneth Damian; her mother, Patsy Abernathy; her sisters, Deborah Phillips and Kendra Miller (Robert); her nephews, Colton Phillips (Myra), Robert D. Miller, and Stephen Miller; and her niece, Jordan Hunt (Christopher). Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Abernathy.

A service to celebrate Lynn's life will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Holland Funeral Home, 806 Circle Dr., Monroe, NC 28112.

Lynn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
