Noelle Rebecca Yantz, 42 years, of Waxhaw, NC, passed away on February 18, 2023. She was born in Bristol, TN, on December 12, 1980 to Carol Chandler (Merges). Noelle had a gentle and kind soul who loved her family above all else.

Noelle was a 2008 MBA graduate of the University of Richmond, Robins School of Business. She spent over 14 years of her 20 year career as a Financial Consultant at Wells Fargo. She met her husband-to-be, Alex Yantz, in her home state of Maryland. Their lives and careers would take them on a journey from the cities of Baltimore, Maryland, Richmond, Virginia, St. Louis, Missouri, and eventually the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

In addition to enjoying time in the kitchen as the resident chef for her family, Noelle loved the outdoors and enjoyed travelling, skiing, and hiking. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Alex; her daughter, Erin; son, Nolan; grandmother, Karen Henegar; grandparents, John and Eileen Merges; and parents, Carol Chandler Merges and Michael Merges, and James Henegar and Donna Pagoota.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Noelle's name may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
