Minnie Sue Mongillo, 72, of Monroe, passed peacefully on October 29th, 2022 surrounded by her family, after a long illness. She was born May 4, 1950 in Union County, NC to the late William and Bessie Wolfe.

Dearly beloved wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, William Paul Mongillo; her daughters, Tracey Whitaker (Wilson) and her family, and Theresa Thomas and her family. She is also survived by her sister, Doris Davis and her family; her brother, Leland Wolfe and his family; and her sister, Margie McAteer and her family, as well as her stepchildren.

Bill & Sue's marriage spanned 42 years, many years spent together sharing their love of horses. Sue loved gardening and cultivating flowers as well as making folk art and crafts. Her many talents included sewing, knitting, gardening, and crafts.
