Mrs. Mildred Taylor Helms, 73, passed away December 4, 2020. Mrs. Helms was born in Union County, NC on October 25, 1947 to the late Willis and Alice Benton Taylor. A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 3:45 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Good News Baptist Church. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 4:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Mrs. Helms will be laid to rest at Price Cemetery. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Pete Helms; daughter, Annette Helms Rowell; granddaughter, Madison; and grandson, Joshua. In addition to her parents she was preceded in passing by her son-in-law Ralph Rowell. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
