Mrs. Melissa Guin, age 57 of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Thursday July 27, 2023, at home.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday August 5, 2023, at Mountain Spring Baptist Church, 2509 Mountain Spring Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.

Melissa was born, October 15, 1965, in Union County, a daughter to Martha Ella Nash Wallace and the late Bobby Ray Wallace.

Melissa used her God given talents for singing, playing the piano, and organ for Corinth Baptist Church and Mountain Spring Baptist Church for many years before her illness. Melissa last worked for Farm Bureau Marshville North Carolina.

In addition to her mother, Melissa is survived by her husband, Chris Guin of Monroe, her daughter Christina Ann Guin of Pennsylvania, her son Darrel Ray Guin of Monroe, her sister Monica Wallace Teague (Chuck) of Monroe.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain Spring Baptist Church 2509 Mountain Spring Church Road Monroe, NC 28112 or Calvary Baptist Church 2518 Lancaster Hwy, Monroe NC 28112.
