Mary Ester Prince, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was born November 9, 1945 to the late Charles Scott and Pearlie Oxendine Scott. Mary is also preceded in passing by her late husband, Norman Guinn. Services will be held from the graveside at 11:00am on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Marshville City Cemetery. Mary leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sons, Morris Guinn (Alice), Gary Guinn, and Christopher Guinn; grandchildren, Andrew Newland, Morris Guinn Jr., Sky Guinn, Ava Guinn, Christopher Guinn Jr., Seth Guinn, P.J. Guinn, Sierra Guinn, Kerri Guinn, Hailee Guinn, and Kaylon Sparkman; numerous sisters; and many other special family members and friends. Mary was a faithful Christian woman. She attended Church of God and Hope Church of Marshville. Mary had many joys in life. She loved to lend a helping hand whenever she could. After her retirement she would dedicate much of her time to bringing joy to the lives of the patients in nursing homes and her church community. Mary also loved angels. She had a collection of over 7,000 angels that she acquired from all of the yard sales and auctions she would go to frequently. Mary was a very special woman and will be truly missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Prince Family.
