Mrs. Margaret Ann Cassens-Wood, 93, of Union County, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2022. She was born March 6, 1929, to Elmer Rechlin and Anna Rechlin, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is preceded in passing by her parents, her brother, Buddy, and husband, Vilas Wood. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2022, at South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church in Ballantyne, where she was a member for many years. Marge lived a very full, wonderful life, and she always greeted everyone with her big, beautiful smile. She was very active in her church and was an avid golfer. Marge is survived by her daughter, Melanie Nelson and husband, Terry Nelson of Weddington, and daughter, Deborah Krueger and husband, Del Krueger of Wisconsin. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Cassens-Wood Family.
