Janet Lynne Smith, 57 of Monroe, NC passed away Wednesday August 9th, 2023. She was born April 10th, 1966 a daughter to Jeanette Taylor Greer and the late James H. Greer. Also preceded in death; her daughter Heather Clontz and her brother Jeffery Greer.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM on Monday August 14th, 2023 at Faith Baptist Church, 4220 Faith Church Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11:00am until 11:45am. Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest at Ritch Cemetery immediately following the service.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory are her husband Jimmy Smith, children Aaron Clontz and Amanda Clontz, step-daughters, Keely and Bailey Smith, siblings, Linda Greer, Wands (Richard) Dellinger, Debbie (Tom) Chinn, Kenny Greer and Andy (Christie) Greer; grandchildren, Everly and Gavin Brown, Jada Philemon, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great- nephews.
