Obituary

Mrs. Janella "Fawn" Tremblay Stevens 49, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 in Monroe, NC. She was born in Danbury, CT on September 14, 1971. She grew up in Monroe, NC and resided in Port Richey, FL. After graduating from Forest Hills High School in the class of '89, she obtained a Bachelor's Degree at Appalachian State University where she was also the university's first recipient to be selected to study abroad as an exchange student at Perth University in Australia. Fawn is preceded in death by her grandparents Hazel and Harold Smith, uncle Robert "Chopper" Smith, nephew Jonathan Tremblay, and her lifelong friend Crystal Broome. A private viewing was held for Fawn at Holland Funeral Service on Monday, October 12, 2020. Fawn is survived by her husband Michael Stevens, children Danielle Stevens Robinson (De'Vell) and Michael Stevens, two grandchildren Jaxson and Khalil Robinson, mother Jane Smith Lemmon, her siblings Mark Tremblay (Angie), Heath Tremblay (Sheri), and Laurie Tremblay Declet (Daniel). Fawn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She had four nephews and two nieces whom she loved very much. Her four nephews were Trenton Riggins, Hunter Tremblay, Zachary Tremblay, and TaKoda Riggins. Her two nieces were Tianna Riggins and Tayla-Ja Riggins. There were also many more loved ones whom Fawn considered her family. Fawn always showed unconditional love to everyone and exemplified the true love of Jesus Christ. She was the sunshine to everyone's heart, and spent her life ensuring to help everyone find their "happy place". The smile radiating from Fawn's face would immediately lighten a room and/or day, and her strength was unbelievable. She loved all music (Elvis), taking pictures of everything to capture the beautiful moments of life, and living life joyfully with her family and friends. Fawn's most special qualities were her funny, encouraging, loving, compassionate, caring, merciful, and inspiring spirit. We know she is in her forever "happy place" with the Lord Jesus, and when she changed her address, she was surrounded with love and prayers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to March of Dimes or a charity of your choice. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the Stevens family.
