Mrs. Helen Edwards Gibson, 86, of Indian Trail, NC, passed away on September 28, 2022 at her residence. Helen was born on August 08, 1936, in Union County, NC, to the late Roy and Sallie Edwards.

She is survived by her loving children, Jeff Gibson, Lisa Gibson Frazier, and Steve Gibson; 2 step-granddaughters and their families; siblings, Donald Edwards, Doris Kennedy, Willene Bryant, and Lavonne Boatwright (Ronnie); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tommy Gibson, Jr.; and siblings, Christine Edwards, Marvin Edwards (Virginia); and brothers-in-law, Craig Bryant and Bill Kennedy.

Funeral service will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at Sardis Baptist Church, 3602 Unionville Indian Trail Rd W., Indian Trail, NC, with pastor Kenn Hucks officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 5 pm and a Celebration of Life to follow at 6 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Sardis Baptist Church, 3602 Unionville Indian Trail Rd W. Indian Trail, NC 28079.
