Edith Carolyn Pressley, 80, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 15, 2024. She was born July 3, 1944 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Tom Honeycutt and Floy Honeycutt. In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in passing by her brothers, Eugene Honeycutt (Vera), Rommie Honeycuttt (Karen), and Jerry Honeycutt; and her great-grandchild, Ryker Younts.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Midway Baptist Church in the Family Life Center, 4615 Olive Branch Rd, Wingate, NC 28174. Mrs. Pressley will be laid to rest in the church cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 12:30pm until 1:45pm.

Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Sam Pressley; sons, Randy Pressley (Nancy), Darren Pressley (Vicky), and Eric Pressley (Susan); sister, Judy Helms (Richard), brother, Maurice Honeycutt (Edith), grandchildren, Michelle Lewis (Trey), Hannah Pressley (Jack), Amber Younts (Tyler), Ashley Younts (Zach), Evan Pressley (Ashley), and Alex Pressley; great-grandchildren, Pressley, Piper, Raylyn, Paisley, Laikyn, Emma and Rhett.
