Carol Pope, 72, passed away July 23, 2025. She was born April 17, 1953 and was the daughter of the late William and Eva Mae Beard. Carol will be remembered by many as "Momma Carol." She was loved by so many people and gave love to so many more. Carol loved spending time with her family and especially her grand babies. Whether they were simply playing board games or going on a family vacation, she cherished every moment she was able to spend surrounded by her family. She also loved listening to music, coloring, and eating her favorite candies while watching her tv shows. Carol will be deeply missed in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Pope, daughters, Crystal Pope, and Samatha Alverson; sister, Debbie Wood, brothers, Brad Beard, and Bobby Beard; and grandchildren, Affton Rossman and Eva Alverson.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00pm until 4:00pm on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, Nc 28112.
