Betty Ruth Smith, 78, of Wingate NC. passed away at her residence on March 13, 2023. She was preceded in her death by her parents, Clayton & Genevia Jarman, and is survived by her husband and 3 children. Billy Lee Smith, father of Brenda Lee Belk, Sherry Lynn Styles and Vicky Sue Pressley. Survived by five (5) grandchildren.

Betty enjoyed taking care of her family and going to Pirateland for family vacations for over 50 years. She also enjoyed walks, exploring and camping with "Happy" her beloved dog.

Her celebration of life will be held at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Dr. Monroe NC 28112, at 6:00pm, on Thursday March 16th 2023.
