Mrs. Amanda Lee Mejia Reyes, 43, passed away January 2, 2025. She was born October 25, 1981 to George Washington Knight and Christa Faith Riner. Amanda loved her family, her husband, and her cat and dog, Patches and Lolbow. She loved cooking and could often be found relaxing watching her favorite tv shows. She always looked forward to cooking a big family dinner for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Amanda enjoyed the little things and lived a simple life. She will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Services will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 2:00pm until 2:45pm.

Amanda is preceded in passing by her aunt, Diane Knight, paternal grandparents, Betty and Archie Knight, and maternal grandparents, Pearl and Bill Gray.

She is survived by her husband, Ramiro Mejia Reyes, mother, Christa Riner (Tim), father, George Knight, uncle, Adam Gray (Mary), and her three children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Amanda's honor to the Humane Society.
