Aileen Setsuko Fukuda Hill passed away on Friday, May 13th, 2022 at home - her favorite place in the world. She was born in Honolulu, HI, in 1945 and became the first woman in her family not only to attend college, but to graduate with honors, get her M.B.A., and get her C.P.A. license. All while raising children, a granddaughter, and – hardest of all – a husband from Florida. She will be forever remembered by her loving husband of 40 years (Odis), 3 children (Walt, David, Nikki), and 3 grandchildren (Jonathan, Sara, Olivia), great-grandchild (Levi), as well as by her sister (May), two brothers (Howard, Glenn), and everyone who ever met her. A celebration of her life will be held this Friday, May 20th, at 6PM at Holland Funeral Home in Monroe, NC. In honor of Aileen's memory, too much food will be served and not enough stories will be told. In lieu of flowers, we ask instead that memories of her be emailed to davidfhill@gmail.com.
