William (Billy) Cark Jr., 64, of Stallings, passed away June 29, 2023. He was born on October 30, 1958 to the late William Clark Sr. and Bessie Clark.

Billy was a welder by trade and enjoyed watching NASCAR in his free time. He loved his family and friends and never missed an opportunity to help others when it was needed. Billy was also a handyman and was helpful in serving his family with various tasks at home. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach whenever he could get away.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church 7200 E W.T. Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28215. The family will visit with friends following the service. He will be truly missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Deborah Clark; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sheryl Clark; children, Wayne and Whitney Newton; mother-in-law, Joan Robertson; daughter-in-law, Ashley Newton; grandson, Alexander Newton; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
