Warren Evans Garrett, age 72, passed away on Sunday December 26th, 2021, at Atrium Health Pineville Hospital. A native of Gaston County, North Carolina, he was the son of Claud Emory Garrett and Olena Jones Garrett. Mr. Garrett had worked as a teacher for many years in both Union and Mecklenburg County and once served our country as a drill sergeant in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his son Ethan Emory Garrett. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 4pm till 8pm, Friday January 7th at Jekyll and Hyde Taphouse Grill in Belmont, North Carolina.
