Mr. Wade Brown Jr., 75, of Indian Trail, passed away December 05, 2022. He was born October 14, 1947, in Pineville, NC to David and Mary Brown. Wade was one of eight children: five boys, Larry, Charles, Kenny, Wade, and Willie, and three girls, Glenda, Mary Jean, and Evelyn. Wade is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Brown; his daughter, Keisha Brown; and many grandchildren. Two of his children predeceased him, Carolyn Dawkins and Barbara Moore.

Wade worked many years as a truck driver. He loved working with children from time to time and in 1985, he joined the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System as a Custodian/Maintenance Supervisor. He retired in 2006.

Wade's hobbies were fishing with family and friends and working on old cars. He was a member of the Silver Mount Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. He made many friends, one in particular is David Roberts who is now a minister and will give the eulogy for Mr. Brown.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe. The family will receive guests beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery, 891 Bickett St., Monroe, NC.
