Vann Helms, 57, passed away on August 28, 2024. Vann was a passionate fan of NASCAR, fishing, and the Carolina Panthers, spending much of his time enjoying the things he loved most. His adventurous spirit and love for life were cherished by everyone who knew him.

Born to Charlie and Magaline Helms, Vann was preceded in death by his father, Charlie, and his older brother, Doug Helms. Doug's wife, Willy, survives him. Vann is also survived by his loving mother, Magaline. His Sister Diane, His sister Kathy and her husband Roger Melton. and his younger brother Brian and his wife Cindy.

Vann leaves behind his cherished children, Christopher Helms and Christina Helms, as well as his beloved grandchildren: Jackson, Oliver, Quinn, Angelina, and Dominic, who will carry on his memory.

Vann's legacy is one of joy, passion, and a deep connection to the things and people he loved. His presence will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 16, 2024 in the Winston Chapel of Holland Funeral Service 806 Circle Drive Monroe, NC 28112 with burial to follow in Forest Lawn East Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 to 12:50 at the funeral home prior to the service.
