Tommy Lee Threatt, 77, of Marshville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. He was born in Union County on May 20, 1945, son of Hermas and Gladys Hill Threatt.

He is survived by his wife Cathy Tarlton Threatt and four sons, Myles Stuart (Suwanee), Matthew Weldon (Alisia), Daniel Andrew (Allie), and Samuel Hudson Threatt; six grandchildren, Lydia (Chris) Titus, Myles Taylor (Camilla), Justin, Dylan, Nate, and Malachi Threatt.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm at Hamilton Cross Roads Baptist Church, 6133 Old Goldmine Road, Marshville, NC 28103. Visitation is at 3:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Tommy was a faithful servant of the LORD having served 21 years as a pastor in three area churches. His desire was to see his congregation come to know the LORD as their personal saviour, and to strive to enter in the "narrow gate." His "deeper life" ministry challenged his hearers to serve the LORD diligently as they grew in Christ. His greatest desire was to please his LORD and SAVIOUR and bring honor and glory to the One who gave his life for our sins.

Tommy was a loving father and husband who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed gardening and reading. He liked to drive his golf cart to the garden to "watch it grow."

His memory lives on in his children, wife, and loved ones. To God be the glory. AMEN
