Tommy attended Bowman Senior High School. He was an entrepreneur. He was a construction worker, mechanic, and carpenter.
Tommy Chambers was born on March 15, 1960 to the late Weldon and Janie Bell Chambers.
Tommy joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Polkton, NC at an early age.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, and two sisters, Kim Merriweather, and Terry Ann Henry.
He leaves his legacy to his children: A loving and devoted daughter who moved in and took care of him, Quinita Flowers of the home; two sons, Jermaine (Crystal) Barrett of Mrytle Beach, SC, and Derick Gaddy of Marshville, NC; three wonderful grandchildren; and one brother, Mr. Risden Chambers of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Brenda Gaddy of Charlotte, NC; two devoted nephews, Mr. Juan Chambers and Mr. Melvin Merriweather of Durham, NC; special friend, Kathy Chambers, three nieces and five nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
