We sadly announce the passing of Timothy Alan Rushing, 78, on Thursday, November 13, 2025. He was born on May 8,1947 to Conley and Odessa Rushing. Tim was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Patricia M. Rushing; son, Marc Rushing; and brother, Ted Rushing; in-laws Jimmy and Billie Sue Robinson.

Tim is survived by his daughter, Tania Rushing Craig (Jerry); grandsons, Dalton Craig (Gracelyn) and Brandon Craig (Shaylee Smith, girlfriend); great-grandson, Hudson Craig; sisters-in-law, Judy M. Melton (Doug) and Robin M. Hinkle (Bill); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; best friends of over 50+ years, Don and Terri Purser; many "bonus" children and grandchildren;  and is loving and loyal dog, Bone.

Tim was a man whose life was filled with love, loyalty, and the simple joys that made him who he was. A true cowboy at heart. He loved horses, rodeos, and the sale barn—places that felt like home. He enjoyed the little things, too: a good pickle, his chocolate stash, the steady companionship of his dog, Bone, and the comfort of familiar routines. Above all, his great grandson was the light of his eyes, bringing him joy beyond measure. He was always waiting for someone to ask about him so he could show off his pictures. Tim leaves behind a legacy of love, grit, humor, and the kind of wisdom that comes from living life fully and simply. His presence will be missed, but the stories, traditions and love he shared will continue to echo through the generations he treasured so dearly.
