Timothy Michael "Mike" Helms, 52, of Marshville, North Carolina, passed away July 31, 2022. Mike was born May 6, 1970, in Union County to Thomas Jackson Helms Jr. and the late Janis Scott King. Mike was employed by Van's Welding for many years. He also enjoyed fishing, traveling, and shooting pool. Left to treasure his memory, Mike is survived by his wife, Charlotte Blackmon Helms and son, Jacob Michael Helms, of Monroe; stepson, Edward Bayden Marze; father, Jack Helms and wife, Judy; and half brother, Joshua Self. Mike will be truly missed by his family and fellow employees. Memorial arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.
