IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mr. Thomas Allen
Novitsky
December 17, 1956 – November 5, 2023
Mr. Thomas Allen Novitsky, 66, of Pageland, SC, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 in the Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born December 17, 1956 in Erie, PA a son to the late Nicholas and Florence Bentley Novitsky.
Mr. Novitsky served in the United States Marine Corp.
Tom went to be with his wife Charlene, a daughter Suzanna and a son Stephen in Heaven. They had four
other children: Angelia, Laurie, Andrew, and Lyle. They made their home in in Pennsylvania, North
Carolina (while serving in the military), and Ohio. Having loved the south, they decided to move to South
Carolina where they lived out their lives happily. They took care of goats and chickens and a variety of
other animals. Charlene loved to nurture these animals and if she loved something, then he did too.
They had a long love story and now are re-united.
To those of you who were blessed to know him, you knew him to be funny, giving, and kind. He enjoyed
going to the Flea Markets and scouring for good deals. Tom might not have liked working on their
vehicles or equipment, albeit he was good at it. A great handyman and jack-of-all-trades. His sense of
humor tended to make us all laugh and his smile was contagious. He always had an entertaining story to
share and delighted in chuckling at his own jokes. He loved to read and spent many hours doing just this.
Sitting quietly and devouring page after page of whatever book caught his eye at that time. He loved his
family dearly. He was a really good guy and loved by many.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas Andrew and Florence Marie Novitsky, sisters Carol
and Margaretta "Gret", wife Charlene, daughter Suzanna, and son Stephen.
Survivors of Tom include daughter Angie and husband Brian Koziarski of New Hampshire along with their
children Bryan (wife Heather), Alex, and Darien. Daughter Laurie and husband Sean Wasson of Ohio and
their children Jordan (hubby David) Jones, Madalyn, and Blake. Son Andrew of North Carolina and Lyle of
South Carolina. Sisters: Mary Ann (hubby Joe) Sharkey, Norma, Michell (late hubby Chuck) Jordan, Jenny
(hubby David) Potter. Brothers John and Chuck (wife Teresa).
