Thomas Lee Howell, 34 was called to his eternal home Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Thomas was born prematurely on November 21, 1986. He overcame many obstacles and later became known as "Big T" to many people. Thomas's smile could brighten any room and he had the best bear hugs. Thomas's heart was huge, he would give you his last possession if he thought you would need it more, and he could also smooth talk you out of yours. Thomas helped his father growing up in the mobile home industry and later moved on to become a heavy equipment operator in the asphalt business. Thomas prided himself in trying to outwork those around him. No one could deny the amount of love Thomas had for his family and friends. He could spark up a conversation with anyone and people just naturally loved him. One of his greatest joys in life was his two nieces, he would have protected them no matter what, even if it meant threatening a bunch of young bullies. Thomas was greeted home by his maternal grandparents Arthur and Myrtle Greer, his paternal great grandfather Walter Starnes, Sr and his Uncle Ted Greer. Those left to feel his loss are his father James Howell, Jr (Bonnie Griffin), mother and stepfather Karen and Rev. David Carriker, his sister and brother-in-law Julie and Scotty McCain, brother and sister-in-law Wyatt and Alyssa Howell, Nieces Bailey Howell and Chloe McCain, nephew Sean McCain. Also suffering from void he left in our hearts are Great Grandmother Dorothy Starnes, Paternal Grandparents James (Jimmy) and Evelyn Howell, Sr, Uncles Jeff Howell and Donald (Everil) Howell, Great Aunt Brenda and Uncle Gary Westcoat and Great Uncle Lee Starnes, multiple cousins, his honorary brothers Cameron and Eric Tarlton and Travis Hayes, honorary sister Kayla (Blake) Crocker and his very special honorary grandmother Mrs. Lou Carter. Thomas's services were private.
