Mr. Ronald Lee Long Jr., 49 of Monroe, NC passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side after a ten year long battel with cancer on Sunday, August 11, 2024. He was born on July 11, 1975, to Mr. Ronald Lee Long Sr and the late Mrs. Janie Burgess.

Mr. Long is known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit, and his sense of humor. His personality brought joy to everyone that he encountered. He loved his family with his children and grandchildren being his pride and joy. Fishing, bonfires, working on the farm, hanging out with the pink crew and just being outside were some of his favorite things. He fought a long and hard battle to stay with his family until he was too tired to fight any longer, he will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is proceeded in death by his niece Aaliyah Colvard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Tasha Long, his children, Scotti Peacock, Tara Peacock, Corey Griffin (Paige), Jaclyn Lawrence (Ronald), Angel Lammonds (Richie), Savannah Long (Bailey), and Bryanna Smith, grandchildren, Paris, Naomi, Waylon, Jaxson, Greyson, Addison, Rayden, Riva, his sister, Sandy Page (Dexter) brother, Stephen Long nieces, Brooke, Michaela, Raven and nephews, Dustin, Colby and Alex. His extended family, Mandi Wolfe and the Pink Crew, The Court-Yard Crew, and many other friends that he called family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. No services will be scheduled at his request as he would like everyone to remember him as he was.
