Roger Lee Rushing 81 of Monroe passed away April 26 2025 at Hospice of Union County. Roger was a marine and a long time resident of Union County.He lived a long and ful-filling life.He was a loving and gentle man and will be missed dearly.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Vance Rushing ,Nannie Kiker Baucom, Buren Rushing (brother), Linda Gray Rushing (wife) and Raven Locklear (step-son).

Roger is survived by 3 sisters Willie Mae Rushing (Arval Rushing spouse), Belva Rushing (J. Hue Rushing deceased spouse) and Sheila Helms. 2 sons Randy and Tim Rushing. 2 step-daughters Lachelle and Sabrina Locklear.4 granddaughters Randi,Lily,Lauren and Kayla Rushing. Step grand -daughter Kebrina Locklear. Roger also has several other step grandchildren,great grand-children and lots of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in his honor May 10th at Mill Grove Church of Midland from 4-6 pm.
