Robert Allan (Bob) Spence passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at Atrium Health, Monroe. Bob, 65, was born on July 14, 1957, in Adrian, Michigan and moved to Monroe as a young boy.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lisa Thomason Spence of Monroe; one son, Alan Spence of Monroe; one granddaughter, Layla Spence of Monroe; two stepbrothers, David Polk of Monroe, and Steven Polk (Amy) of Monroe; one stepsister, Tammy Vaughn of Monroe; mother, Joyce Milton and stepfather, James Milton of Louisiana; stepmother; and Martha Spence of Monroe.

He was preceded in passing by his father, Paul Spence; and two brothers, David and Tim Spence.

A future family memorial will be planned.
