Robert William Hargette better known as Robo passed away December 16, 2020. Robert was born May 1, 1951 in Monroe NC the oldest son to the late RC and Mary Hargett. Robert was also preceded in death by a brother, David Hargett. Robert loved going to the beach and mountains and will be missed singing and dancing on the beach. A funeral service to celebrate Robo's life will be held at 12 noon Saturday December 19, 2020 at Bright Spot Baptist Church, 1407 Lockhart Rd. Monroe NC 28112. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Robert is survived by his loving wife Debbie, sons Chris (Ginny), Shane (Andrea), and Ben (Beth). His brothers Jimmy (Karen), Stan (Phyllis), Ricky (Phyllis), and Ronnie (Kathy). Robert is also survived by his loving mother in law Carol Tucker and by his five grandchildren- Tyler, Ian, Morgan, Kaylyn, and Kindley who he loved very much. In lieu of flowers the family request that donation be made to Bright Spot Baptist Church PO Box 3304 Wingate NC 28174. For those who do not feel comfortable coming into the church, the funeral will be broadcasted via radio transmitter on 90.1 FM in the church parking lot.
