Ricky Olin Clontz, age 71, died Sunday January 26, 2025 at Atrium Health Union Monroe, NC after an extended illness.

Mr. Clontz was born September 17, 1953 in Union County, son of the late James Olin Clontz and Claudia Connell Clontz of Monroe and was also preceded in death by brother-in-law Lt. Col. (Retired U.S. Army) Jerry Self of Elizabethtown, KY

Survivors include his loving wife, Teresa Clontz of the home; one sister, Ann Self of Elizabethtown, KY; children Anthony (Tony) Clontz (Sandra) of Richfield, Stephanie Price (Byron) of Monroe, Rebecca Tucker (Jesse) of Lancaster, SC, Brandi Brock (Crystal) of Troy, Amanda Clontz of Monroe and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Clontz was a retired employee of Union County Public Schools.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 28 beginning at 12:00 noon followed by the 1:00pm funeral service at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe, NC. Burial will be at Lakeland Memorial Park, Monroe.
