Richard Wayne O'Connell, 77, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. He was born in New Jersey City, NJ on May 19, 1943. Richard is survived by his loving wife of of 20 years, Petra O'Connell, his five sons; and one step-granddaughter, and several grandchildren. Richard was a good and hardworking man. He owned Jaylynn's Towing Company in New Jersey for over 15 years. After moving to North Carolina, he owned and operated a few dog kennels. Most recently, he and his wife owned Kindness Kennels in Monroe, NC. Richard was such a hardworking man that he did not have much free time. Richard was a kind man who will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Holland Funeral Service is serving the O'Connell Family.
