IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mr. Richard Joseph
Majewski
March 5, 1947 – October 13, 2023
It is with profound sadness that the family of Richard J Majewski, 76, announces his transition to be with Our Lord.
Richard was known as Rich, Richie, Unc, or Dzia Dzia to his loved ones.
He passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a heroic battle with ALS.
Raised in Housatonic, Massachusetts, Rich graduated from North Eastern University with a degree in industrial engineering. He spent his professional career with and retired from Allvac. Rich was a long standing deacon at Oakland Baptist Church, taught Sunday school for over 30 years, participated with Heart of Monroe, and was a volunteer through the church for over a decade with the Union County Jail Ministry.
On any given day Rich could be found enjoying time with family and friends, doing projects for others, antiquing, working in the yard and exploring local history.
Richard is survived by his wife, Pamela and their children Jenny, Heather, Cole, Megan, and TJ and grandchildren Agust, Jo, Talon, Blake, Luke, and Jake. He is also survived by his brother, Bernard Majewski and his wife Agnes and their children Brian, Maureen, Andy, Diane, Carol and Sharon.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Benjamin and Honorata Majewski and granddaughter Gracie Gaskins.
We will all cherish the fun times, memories, and wisdom gained in our time with Rich.
Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of support and prayers through this difficult time.
There will be celebration of life at Oakland Baptist Church in Monroe NC on Saturday October 21st at 1:00pm.
Holland Funeral Service is serving the Majewski Family.
